Sitting at the mouth of Saint Joseph's Bay, Ava's Beach House provides a unique salt water experience which includes both Bay and Gulf waters.

Nestled on densely tree-lined grounds for complete privacy, the newly constructed elevated beach home lies on the Bay Beach Bike Trail, just steps from a private beach with spectacular west-facing sunsets. All living quarters are conveniently located on the same level for ease of access for all family members as well as an outdoor lift.

On the ground level, you’ll find the convenience of paved covered parking for up to four cars, an outdoor shower, a half bath, 6 Person Hot Tub, Firepit, Cornhole Boards, BBQ grill, and a fenced-in dog run for your favorite four-legged friend.

For an easy beachside picnic or fishing expedition, you’ll also enjoy the use of two beach chairs, a sand beach mat, a wagon and a rolling cooler. From this home’s convenient location on St. Joseph’s Bay, a premier scallop hatchery, you can catch redfish, trout and whiting, all without losing sight of the house. Fishermen will certainly appreciate the dedicated fish cleaning station. Of course, if you do wander the length of the 2.5-mile conservation beach, the home’s distinctive Ibis weathervane and stained glass window will guide you back. The usually calm waters will provide a serene beach going experience for the entire family. The fish cleaning station is perfect for cleaning that special catch.

Upstairs, this sprawling home captures the spirit of the Forgotten Coast with nautical decor, brightly colored interiors and ocean-inspired accents. As you enter, an open-concept living area invites you to settle into vacation mode with a large-screen TV, full-length sofa and relaxing recliner chairs. Steps away, a modern kitchen offers ample room to prepare the day’s catch with plenty of cabinet space for snacks.

A 6-8 seat dining table allows for family meals with treetop views through the screened porch. Three additional seats at the breakfast bar create the ideal “kids’ table.” After dinner, take in the views from screened and open porches, both featuring colorful Adirondack chairs. A convenient half bath is located just down the hall.

The spacious primary suite has a sitting area with a comfy accent chair, wall-mounted TV, and antique nautical artwork. The en-suite bath features dual sinks and a step-in shower with a rain shower-head.

This charming room, styled in a Victorian flair, has a full dresser and wall-mounted TV.

Bedroom 3
Queen Murphy Bed
This sunny, carpeted room is ideal for guests who need extra space. Fold up the Nantucket Murphy bed to make room for your yoga mat, kids’ toys or even a Pack ‘n Play.

Bedroom 4
2 Sets of Twin/full Bunk Beds
The bunk room, styled in kid-friendly decor with Finding Nemo linens, play mats and toys, is a stage set for memories with siblings, cousins and friends.

You will also have a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Guests outside the primary suite have a full bathroom in the hallway with a combination shower/bathtub, while a separate half-bathroom on the ground floor adds convenience. A dedicated laundry room keeps swimsuits and towels dry throughout your vacation.
