We had such a relaxing stay. As soon as you walk into the Emerald Bay Cabin, the house gives you a warm, welcoming feeling. We enjoyed the weekend at the beach and rode around on our bikes that were delivered to the house for us. Going out and finding a bite to eat was nice but we had just as much fun cooking some local fresh fish in the house with a nice glass of white wine! Definitely recommend this stay and we will return if we are ever back in the Cape San Blas area!

From the beginning communication was great. Loved the app with access info and recommendations. House was exactly as advertised, very clean and spacious. Nice view of the bay. All the little details left for us were a very nice touch: kitchen cleaning kit, shower kits, extra towels, a Welcome gift. It was like a hotel but felt like home. Beach access was within walking distance. All was great! We would definitely stay there again.

With clear instructions from the beginning, our stay at this house was wonderful. The house was spacious and clean. Little details left for us made us feel welcome and cared for. Recommendations were helpful. Nice view of the bay side. Not too far from the beach, we walked the few blocks to it.
We felt right at home, and even our dog felt comfortable exploring the house and surrounding areas.
We had a couple of days of severe weather but we always felt safe.
Overall, great stay.

This house is absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. The views of the sunrise over the bay are breathtaking. The walk to the beach is a bit far for young kids carrying things but the drive to the beaches are short and easy. I recommend going to the end of the cape for the best beaches. My main disappointment with the house is it is NOT as pictured in regards to the development around the house and the access to the bay. The access to the bay is a small path shared by the little neighborhood and the access is about 5 feed wide. You can put in a kayak or paddle board there, but it is not a place to hang out or play. The turtle grass gathers there and creates sludge to stand in. The long boardwalks in the pictures belong to the neighbors! The pictures make it seem like the house is on the bay. It is not! This house is located between the bay and beach. We rented gear after arrival but there is a scam with the gear—you have to rent it 48 hours before your arrival or get charged $50.

We had an incredible stay and can’t wait to be back! The sunrise views of the bay were beautiful and the walk to the beach was easy. The house was clean and well-appointed (if you enjoy cooking, they had every appliance!). Their starter pack of kitchen items and toiletries was a nice touch. Comfy beds and nice linens. They thought of everything.

Our stay was great! The only thing was that people ( I presume to clean after we left) were waiting outside of the property and hours and a a half before the checkout time at 10 am . We felt very pressured to leave and uncomfortable upon leaving the property.

Emerald Bay Cabin is a lovely three-bedroom home, located on the bay side of Cape San Blas, with deeded access to St. Joe Bay from the front of the home, as well as the beach, which is less than a 5-minute walk. With its spacious open floor plan and spectacular outdoor space that includes boat parking and cleaning access, this home is the perfect launching pad for your Forgotten Coast adventure!
The well-appointed kitchen features stainless steel appliances and everything necessary to prepare a gourmet meal for the family to enjoy at the six-seat dining table. Guests can have cocktails on the home's wrap-around deck, while taking in the splendid bay views. The living room comes replete with a flat screen TV, access to the deck, seating for seven, a vaulted ceiling, as well as a wall of windows from which to enjoy the water view.
At the end of the day, guests can retire to one of the two first floor bedrooms, one with a queen-sized bed and the other with bunk beds that can sleep four. There is also a full-bath and laundry room on this floor. The second level features a king-sized primary bedroom, with an en suite bathroom. You can even catch a glimpse of the Gulf from here!

*We are happy welcome up to 2 dogs for an additional non-refundable pet fee of $200. For guests bringing their boat, there is a public boat launch at St. Joseph Peninsula State Park which provides access to both the Bay and Gulf about a mile from the home.
*Please note that guests must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property.
*Weddings are not allowed at this home. If this policy is violated, you may be asked to vacate the property, forfeit any rental payments, and be subject to HOA, community, and 360 Blue fines.
