Best House, Best Vacation EVER!

We stayed in this house the first week of March with our very large extended family - roughly 20 in total, and all mixed ages, some with kids some without, some pro skiers, some novice. It was absolutely perfect! The house is located only a short distance from the Peak 8 lodge and lift, a quick shuttle or short walk and you\'re on the slopes. The house is huge, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated. Even with our enormous crew, there was plenty of space. It was open enough that we were able to enjoy time together, but the bedrooms were separate enough to give everyone a comfortable escape, private bathroom, and time to relax and regroup. The view is amazing! You can see the beautiful peaks, but also a scenic downtown Breck on the horizon - it\'s right off a postcard. I\'ve done quite a few ski trips over the years, but this one was BY FAR the best, ever! I will absolutely stay at this house any time I am anywhere near Colorado. It\'s perfect! Pro-tip, give yourself a day to adjust to the altitude before hitting the runs. We skied on a 4 of 6 days pass and it worked really well. We adjusted the first day, ran two days, took a rest day, and then ran two more. It was great.

My husband, 13 month old son, and I stayed here in February with our large extended family. You couldn’t ask for a more perfect spot to stay in Breckenridge. The home accommodated everyone comfortably and had a layout conducive to entertaining everyone between the large kitchen and living room. There were multiple hangout spots throughout the house for all different groups of members to do different activities. We had movies going on in the living room, cooking and snacking in the kitchen, a large puzzle in the dining room, and pool and cocktails happening in the basement. The basement has an entire living space with kitchen and living room in and of itself. Our bed, bedroom, and bathroom were very comfortable and had more than enough room. There was even a pack n play supplied that we didn’t have to pack. Views of downtown Breck are amazing from all over the house. You can also enjoy these from the massive hot tub. Peak 8 was in walking distance and we enjoyed this trek from the house on a couple of skiing days. We will be returning and I would highly recommend it to others looking for a great spot in the heart of Breckenridge!
Perfect trip!

The location was perfect! Close to the ski lifts and close to town. It was easy to find and come and go. The entry/mud room was perfect and made storing ski gear easy and kept winter layers organized. We had a large group, but never felt like we were on top of each other. Everyone had their own space. Main sleeping areas are further from the kitchen and hang out space, so you can sleep easily and have privacy. The house was very comfortable, cozy yet spacious at the same time. If you’re cooking, the kitchen had everything we needed and more. The extra fridge and space on the lower level made cooking and preparing food for a big group easier too. Our group loved to play pool and hot tub in the evenings. Nice view of the town at night.

We had 4 families stay in this wonderful house last week. We had high expectations for this house and I am happy to report it exceeded all expectations. Location was terrific (bus pickup 30 yards away). The best feature of this big and very comfortable house was the radiant heating! Temps were below zero for much of our stay, but the house was perfectly warm. Additionally, the radiant heat in the floor did a terrific job drying our wet equipment each day. 3 masters were terrific - spacious, well appointed, and very comfortable. Plenty of space for the kids to spread out as well (both in bedrooms and common areas). Views were amazing from various vantage points. Huge hot tub worked great for our big crew (nice views from the tub). Overall this really is a terrific place and we will rent it again when we return to CO. The pictures are nice, but do not do it justice!!!!!

Thank you so much for the wonderful review, Lisa. We are thrilled that our Christie Heights Chalet met your needs as we would love to welcome all of you back! We can't agree with you more that this home offers so much more than what can be captured in photos, so thank you for pointing that out!

The Christie Heights Chalet was the perfect fit for our family. An easy walk to the shuttle stop and quick ride to Peak Eight worked out great with young children. The home is spacious and cozy, with a lovely kitchen for cooking big meals for our large group. We especially enjoyed the huge flat screen TV for March Madness basketball in the giant living room with plenty of seating and room for the kids to play. The 9-seater hot tub has incredible jets to sooth those sore muscles from a fabulous day on the slopes. We appreciated the gorgeous mountain views, my dad brought his telescope and was even able to spot us skiing!!! Can't wait to visit again!

We had 14 people, including 3 small children stay here Thanksgiving week. There was comfortable room for all for sleeping and playing and watching football. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner for 16 with all the necessary equipment available at the house, so wonderful to see a kitchen so completely supplies! The skiers all loved being so close to the slopes. We have rented 6 other homes in Breckenridge over the past 8 years, but this home was special. And I have to say the management company actually supplied soaps, and tissues, and garbage bags, and laundry soap, etc., it was sooooo nice. So often a day or twos worth of supplies is all that is left, even if you're renting for a week. Then the renter has to buy so much that gets left or tossed out. I will go to "Book Breck" website first from now on.
Manager Response:
Hi Kathryn....Above all, we appreciate the kind words about Book Breck. We strive to provide the very, very best in customer service which includes stocking our homes beyond what most companies provide. Christie Heights is special indeed with its amazing combination of location, luxury, and family friendly feel. We look forward to welcoming you back!
Will stay again at Christie Heights Chalet

This home is every bit as beautiful as pictured. Waking up to these views is incredibly peaceful - our own private mountain oasis! I stayed at this home with friends, and we each had our own master suite. We took advantage of how close the house is to downtown Breckenridge - great local little spots with CO beers, crepes, and sunshine on the patio - but mostly we spent our time enjoying the amenities offered at the house! Huge hot tub, Sonos, Netflix, fully equipped kitchen, all pristine and luxurious - after daily hikes around the area, we usually wanted to return for wine and home cooking. Bring all your friends and the whole family. There's room for everyone.
The property is absolutely lovely

The house is spacious and beautiful and the location is amazing. The house is just outside of downtown Breckenridge so you are a short car ride from grocery stores and restaurants but do not experience any street traffic. It was also easy for us to get Ubers into town. Among other things, we were able to sit in the hot tub and watch deer graze around us... what more could you ask for? I highly recommend this house to any size group!
Manager Response:
Hi Kaitlin...Thank you for your review! Spacious and amazing location are just two of the things we can't agree with more. This home has it all!

This is by far the most beautiful home we have ever rented in the CO area. The house is huge yet cozy with a lovely fireplace and comfortable seating for a huge party of people. The kitchen is state of the art and every window overlooks mountains and greenery. The home was spotless upon our arrival and we loved the steam shower in the downstairs bedroom. We had a blast playing pool and easily connected to the wireless speakers throughout the home. Nothing beats the view from the hot tub - unobstructed mountains during the day and a blanket of stars at night. All this was just a 5 minute walk to downtown Breckenridge! This allowed for quick and easy trips into town for lunch, drinks etc. Every room is set up with Netflix (which is a must for me!). The hosts were so easy to communicate with and seem like great people. We will definitely be back to this home. Keep up the good work!

We throughly enjoyed our time in Breckenridge and especially at this gorgeous mountain home! The house is very comfortable and spacious. Super close to the mountain! The kitchen has everything you'd need to cook a full meal, including nice knives, pots/pans, coffee maker, other kitchen essentials like spices, condiments, etc. Our group commented on how comfortable the beds are, which to me is always important! Another major plus is the huge hot tub. This is the perfect house for any size group, but especially big groups.

This is an amazing housing in a prime location with great views. Bus stop is across the steet and it's just a few stop before your at the base of peak 8 so no waiting in the Gondi line on a pow day! Main Street is a short walk down the hill with plenty of apres' and nightlife. This is all great but you might not want to leave the house once you get there. Amazing view from the back of the house. Super comfy furniture and beds. No 10 year old ski cabin mattresses here. What's a ski house without a hot tube? Got it. Pool table? Got it. Enough Tvs to never miss a second of the game? Got it. Room for 25..... you get the point.

This is a no-brainer choice if you are panning to travel to Breckenridge. It is absolutely stunning and could not be in a better location- easy access to the slopes; a short walk down the hill to restaurants, bars, boutique shops, etc! The house is so inviting and cozy...perfect for any size of gathering- as it sleeps up to 24 people! The beds are super comfortable- which is a must for me when staying away from home. There is a 9-seater hot tub out back that overlooks the most breathtaking views of the mountains and town of Breck. There's also a pool table, board games (both adult and child friendly), plenty of nice TVs, and A+ speakers around the home to enjoy some tunes while relaxing in the beautiful mountains. The kitchen was also absolutely perfect for gathering in and around to make meals together and socialize over a bottle of more of wine :) We really could not have been happier with this listing and cannot wait to return again. What a gem. Thank you!!!

"My wife and I have been coming to Breck 3-4 times a year for many years--both alone and with family/friends--and we always rent a house. There are many great neighborhoods and rental homes but most require some sort of compromise, be it on space vs. location, views vs. location, amenities vs. price, etc. This is probably the most well-rounded of all the properties we've stayed. First, the location is hard to beat whether its ski season or not. It's about a half-mile from both Peak 8 lifts and from downtown. That means you can be either at the lifts or at the restaurants/bars/shops in two minutes by car, ten minutes by foot. At the same time, you're not in the hustle-and-bustle of either location, and you're not sacrificing space or paying exorbitant prices for ski-in/ski-out. There's a bus stop (buses are free) across the street if you don't want to walk or deal with parking. And the Nordic center is practically across the street if you want to snowshoe or cross-country ski. Second, the house is both huge and provides great, separate, cozy spaces. Three bedrooms upstairs; the master, a kitchen, two living rooms, and two dining rooms on the main level; and two more bedrooms, a living room, a small kitchen, and a billiards room in the basement. You can have twenty people in the house without feeling claustrophobic or interfering with separate activities, movies, music, etc. All the rooms are well-equipped with comfortable furniture, large HDTVs, and devices to play music. The two informal living rooms in particular are well thought out: huge TVs, great sound systems, and actual seating for 10 or more people in each. Makes for some great evening hangouts. There's also a giant, fancy hot tub in the back with all the bells and whistles and some great night-time views of town. Finally, you get some amazing sunrises and views of Mount Baldy and downtown Breck. Because the house sits on a steep slope, it feels almost as if you're floating above town. The views aren't as dramatic as you might see from the Highlands, where you'd be facing the 10-mile range, but that's a small sacrifice for the pristine location. We stayed here with a large group consisting of five separate couples and a smattering of kids. Everyone spread out and did their own thing. Some folks went skiing while others went into town. When at the house, we comfortably cooked, ate, drank, and watched TV together. There were also plenty of naps taken. We'll definitely be back!"
