**Beach Club Construction Update: We are excited to announce the Beach Club in WaterColor is now open with the completion of Phase 1! The Main Pool and Upper Deck have been completely refurbished, and the Main Pool Deck and Rita Bar now offer additional lounge and seating areas. Although limited, grab-and-go food options are also available. Phase 2 is expected to be completed in the Spring, and will feature two additional pools.

The property was beautiful. The location was perfect for our 7 teenagers as they could walk to Seaside and Watercolor. Unfortunately our stay got cut short due to the Coronavirus and the beaches being closed. It was still a fantastic vacation !!!

860 Western Lake is about a 10 minute walk to the Watercolor Inn and Beach Club or to the Seaside Village. We vacationed with a party of 8 and everyone had room. The house is spacious and comfortable but there are several items that need to be repaired or replaced to make it a 5 star rental. First and foremost, there is an icemaker in the kitchen that emits a loud whirring sound every 3 to 4 minutes, 24 hours a day. Our friends staying in the master bedroom on the ground floor had a hard time sleeping with this noise. There is also an exhaust hood in the kitchen that is too low and several of us hit our heads. The TV remote in the den did not work, and a step near the grill is loose. Finally, everyone noted that the mattresses in each bedroom are very soft and need to be replaced. Given the premium rental price these items need to be fixed.

We absolutely loved our time at 860 Western Lake Drive!! The house was perfect for our two family vacation with 10 people. The location of this house is the perfect distance from Seaside and Water Color! The side porch we all loved for morning coffee and family gatherings. The kitchen is perfect for family cooking nights where some can gather at the bar, while others cook and some can hang out at the large dining room table! Love the openness!! The living room was large enough for us to hang out and watch a movie. My only suggestion would be to replace the wicker storage area in the upstairs master bathroom with a nice dresser. The beds in the twin bedroom upstairs are a bit small for 17 & 18 y/o boys but they work. The pull out couch in the TV area upstairs is not comfortable so I would recommend that mattress be replaced or provide a mattress pad. We had our 21 y/o son sleep there so it may have been that he’s an adult. Maybe a small child could sleep there and it not be so uncomfortable.

The location of 860 Western Lake is perfect - close to all of the Seaside stores and restaurants with all of the amenities of Watercolor. The outdoor porch was used every morning for coffee and as a gathering space. The kitchen was well-equipped and in a great key location. The outdoor shower was nice to have, but having a lower head for feet only would have been amazing.
