Tubing in Summit County is the Ultimate Winter Rush
We love helping our vacation rental guests have the best experience while visiting Breckenridge. When it comes to winter activities, the arguably most fun (and simplest) of all snowbound games is tubing. Besides skiing and snowboarding, tubing is undoubtedly what our guests staying in Summit County ask us about the most.
Summit County has taken tubing to a whole new level, offering thrills for more adventurous visitors and a whole lot of giggles. While there is not a tubing park in Breckenridge, tubing and sledding can be done at the free sledding hill at Carter Park in Breckenridge. There are also multiple tubing parks in Summit County just outside of Breckenridge with magic carpets for easy trips back up the hill.
Tubing is easy and affordable. Unlike other ways of zipping down a hill or mountain, tubing doesn’t require any athletic skill or special equipment. Skiing and snowboarding are awesome, but they can be intimidating. Ziplining is amazing, but the heights can be a turnoff. The whole family can get involved. Nothing can make you feel like a kid again the way tubing can. If kids are in your group, you’ll be having a blast right alongside them. It’s still an adventure, so you’re not doing any black diamonds while tubing, but you still get the thrill of a speedy downhill descent. Some places even have lifts in their tubing parks, just like for skiers!
Whichever location you choose to go tubing, let us help you find the perfect place where you can return and warm your toes. View our available 2–6-bedroom rentals in Breckenridge at 360Blue.com
