Community Curfew Policies

Here on the Gulf Coast we endeavor to create an environment that is welcoming, safe, and memorable for everyone who chooses to vacation with us. The 30A communities have instituted community curfew polices to ensure families and guests enjoy their time together.

Seaside Community

Spring Break 2026 Curfew

SEASIDE® will enforce a 7:00 PM CST curfew for unaccompanied minors, under 18, without parental supervision from March 1 through April 19, 2026. We kindly ask that parents and guardians accompany their children and teens during their visit. While we understand the excitement of independence, SEASIDE® is best experienced as a family, exploring our beautiful beaches, enjoying our locally owned shops and restaurants, and making memories that last a lifetime.

We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining the values that make Seaside a beloved tradition for families near and far. Thank you for helping us foster a safe, welcoming environment for all, and we look forward to another wonderful holiday and Summer season in Seaside.

WaterColor Community

Spring Break 2026 Curfew

We endeavor to create an environment that is welcoming, safe, and memorable for everyone who chooses to vacation with us in WaterColor. From March 1 through April 19, WaterColor's curfew for unaccompanied minors (under 18 and without parental supervision) will be 7:00 p.m. Unaccompanied minors must wear their WaterColor wristbands at all times in the property's common areas.

WaterColor's decision to adjust its regular curfew was made in coordination with other 30A communities and the Walton County Sheriff's Office.

Seacrest Beach

Spring Break 2026 Curfew

Curfew will run through Saturday, the 18th of April, the HOA, along with their neighbors in The Village, Rosemary Beach, and Alys Beach, for unaccompanied minors. Curfew begins each evening at 8:00 PM and continue until 7:00 AM the following morning. The Seacrest Beach Security team will work to ensure that any child under 18 who is not accompanied by someone eighteen or older who is staying in our community will be directed to return to their residence. Unaccompanied minors who are not wearing a current, Seacrest wristband will be asked to leave the property.

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office is in full support of communities along Scenic Highway 30A working together and implementing curfews. However, we want to make sure everyone knows that while the Sheriff’s Office will be patrolling our community more frequently, they can only respond to instances where people have broken the law. Curfew enforcement is the responsibility of our Security team.

Barricades

Seacrest will have staffed barricades at all entry points into the community during the predicted busiest week. In the past Spring/Fall Breaks when the barricades were up, only people staying in Seacrest or people accompanying someone staying in Seacrest were allowed to come on the property. Anyone not staying in Seacrest was turned away. This program proved to be effective in reducing the amount of foot traffic in the community and was very popular amongst homeowners and guests alike.  In light of last years’ success, your Board of Directors has decided to deploy the barricade system during the Spring Break Week that the Walton County Sheriff’s Office believes will be the busiest of the season.

This year, barricades will be erected during the following period:

April 3rd through April 11th

During this period, Seacrest will erect temporary barricades at The Village Lane, Trigger Trail East, Seacrest Beach Blvd N, and Sand Flea at 8:00 PM. Each of these positions will be staffed by one or more security officers who will use the following guidelines to grant access to our neighborhood.

  • Anyone with a wristband or parking pass can enter the property.

  • People on bicycles or walking will be required to have wristbands in order to enter the property.

  • Anyone under the age of 18 who does not have a wristband will not be permitted to enter the property unless they are accompanied by someone over the age of 18 who does possess a valid Seacrest wristband.

  • People in vehicles that do not have a valid parking pass will have to indicate where they are visiting. Security will record the vehicle’s make, model, color, license plate State, and license plate number.

These temporary barricades will come down at 2:00 AM. In addition to the personnel staffing the barricades, our normal security detail will continue to patrol the community and conduct regular operations.
