Overall we had a very good stay. The Natural retreats team was terrific and responded to issues very quickly. A+ there.
As for the property…. The accommodations are for the most part very tired and in need of updating. The 2 bedrooms with queen beds, were not comfortable. The mattresses need to be replaced. They crunch with the slightest move which is annoying. Main living room furniture is candidly embarrassing and in desperate need of replacement. We spent most of our time on the porch which was delightful. The toilet mechanics need an upgrade. Flushing could take a few times to get the desired results. A new toaster would help. Only one side worked. The TV situation is very poor. No streaming was capable, but we managed. The last thing I would highly recommend you change is the removal of the large pot in the outside main entrance. It’s too much in the way, and could be a potential liability should anyone misstep on the narrow stairs coming out of the house. We had a close call in that regard.
Positives, great location, bunk room was very comfortable. ( my grown daughter chose one of the bunk beds in stead of the queen bed for comfort).
We also understand it is pet friendly which was huge for us. The great weather we enjoyed for 3 weeks allowed for a great deal of outside time which is what we really hoping for.
We had a great time, and the team was awesome. It’s just time to put a bit of a new touch to freshen the home a bit.
