DETAILS: "Moonstone," a beautiful home in WaterSound, has 5 bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, and sleeps 12. Guests will enjoy the separate carriage house, 4-seater golf cart, spacious screened grilling area, and dining porch. Moonstone is close to the beach, community park, and nature trails.
The first floor is warm and inviting with hardwood floors and a mix of textured interior materials - painted brick, exposed timber beams, shiplap walls - create a luxurious open-concept kitchen, dining, and living space. Down the hall are a laundry room and a guest bedroom with a king bed, flat-screen TV, and private bathroom.
In the kitchen, premium stainless-steel appliances, a gas range, double ovens, and a large island with seating for 4 are surrounded by crisp white cabinetry accented by natural light from 2 windows. A white brick archway leads into the dining and living room. Rough, exposed timber beams lend visual weight to the gas fireplace's painted white brick and surrounding white shiplap walls. A cottage-coastal style chandelier lights a round dining table with seating for 9. A comfortable sofa and several armchairs face a fireplace and flat-screen TV.
A set of double-glass doors opens onto a spacious screened outdoor living, dining, and grilling area. String cafe lights cross the ceiling and provide lighting for late-night gatherings on a wicker sofa and armchairs. A propane grill flanks a dining table with seating for 8 and is an ideal spot to grill the fresh catch of the day.
On the second floor, a sitting area with sofa, loveseat, and armchair face a flat-screen TV and enjoy natural light from a wall of windows. A primary bedroom has a king bed, timber ceiling beams, a private bathroom with a shower and soaking tub, and a private balcony with a small table, 2 chairs, and pine forest views. A guest bedroom has a king bed and a shared hallway bathroom. A second guest bedroom has a king bed and a private bathroom.
On the third floor, a colorful loft space is a perfect space for kids to gather. Bean bag chairs and a loveseat provide a cozy spot to curl up and share stories at the end of a long day. There is an additional sleeping area with two twin over twin bunk beds.
In the Carriage House, a kitchenette has premium stainless-steel appliances and a dining nook with seating for 3, leading into the guest bedroom with a vaulted ceiling and lots of natural light. A twin sleeper sofa and 2 armchairs provide additional space for guests. A private bathroom has double sinks and a shower.

The home was lovely and our family enjoyed our stay and all agreed that we would rent the home again. 360blue staff were very helpful in trying to resolve any issues we had with the property. The only issue they couldn’t resolve during our stay was the in cabinet ice maker which didn’t work. Overall, we were very pleased with the property.
